My children gave me the Artisan Series KitchenAid for Christmas and I could not be more pleased!! At last, a mixer with enough power and capacity to handle all my cooking/baking projects. I cannot wait to add some of the additional accessories which will allow me to explore other recipes which I could not have considered previously! Love my Mixer

I went to school for baking and used a hand mixer for 10 years after graduation. Finally my parents splurged and got me this mixer for my birthday this year and I am so glad they did, I have used it also everyday since I received it. I LOVE it, it seriously is a must have in the kitchen!

I have waited a long time for a KitchenAid mixer, and I am thrilled to finally be an owner! Heavy duty, beautiful color, quiet while operating, strong mixing action for a tilt-head. The only drawback is the stainless bowl is a little thin. Afraid it won't hold up, but counting on KitchenAid to always carry replacement parts!

good but not perfect

I bought this machine, and within 6 months the motor had burned out. I spoke to kitchen aid and they replaced the whole machine for free! I have been enjoying my new one now for a couple years. I find that mixing firmer foods like some doughs can be difficult. I love my pasta attachment! The food processor attachment works but is awkward to use and has limitations on its purpose that a stand alone processor offers. But mostly it makes me quite happy!

No major complaints. Now that there is mixing paddle with a rubber scraper on it, they should abandon the one without. Would prefer they use a glass mixing bowl rather than a stainless steel.

Best Kitchen Aid I have owned.

I have owned three different kitchen aids my last one of which I owned for 12 years and it was still working like the day I bought it. I love that this kitchen aid came with a handled bowl as well as the cover for the bowl. I also fell in love with the paint that is on this kitchen aid as it's not smooth and glossy. It has a slight texture to it, and looks colored exactly like the picture.
